Food Access

Getting Started

Visits to the Peter McKee Centre are made by appointment only. When you arrive, one of our staff will speak with you to determine if you require food for a temporary or long-term basis. At that time, we will also ask about any non-food related needs pertaining to your particular situation. We want to support you in any way we can!

Once you register with us, you’ll see one of our intake workers on your next visit to receive your order and schedule your next review date, which will be used to evaluate your situation and adjust things as needed. Please note that all review dates are arranged based on a client’s individual needs.

Please remember to bring the following to your review appointment:

The Medicare cards off all individuals in your household
Identification to verify your current address
Proof of monthly income (payslip, bank statement, cheque stub etc.)
Proof of regular monthly expenses (rent, utilities, phone, vehicle expenses etc.)
